Wandsworth Borough Council
If you look after someone who needs support because of an illness or disability and cannot manage without help, you could be considered a carer. Any carer who appears to need some support has the right to an assessment to see if they are eligible for support from the council and how they can help you.
Wandsworth Dementia Support
Their dementia support workers offer information and practical guidance to help you understand dementia, cope with day-to-day challenges and prepare for the future. They offer information to people who are worried about their memory and ongoing support to people affected by dementia face to face, over the phone or in writing.
